Apprenticeship IT Specialist Application Development (m/f/d)

As an IT specialist (m/f/d) in application development, you'll get to dive deep into the world of software development. It's not just about writing code. You'll be creating solutions that really add value. You'll be looking at what our customers need, designing software that's just right for them, and making changes to existing programs. You'll get to flex your creative muscles by developing user-friendly and intuitive user interfaces that make everyday work easier. You'll learn how to solve tricky problems with modern diagnostic tools and help our customers get the most out of their software.
You'll work with some pretty cool software development methods and programming tools to develop customized applications. You'll test existing software and optimize it so that it meets the highest quality standards. You'll work with experienced developers and project managers in agile teams on projects that support customers from the supply and waste disposal industry with innovative solutions. You'll write software programs, but you'll also maintain, expand, and adapt them to new requirements.

On top of your interest in technology and IT, you should also have the following: You should have a good grade in computer science or previous experience working with computers (outside of school is even better!), as well as a good understanding of logical connections and analytical skills. You should also enjoy solving problems and developing creative approaches, and you should have a good command of English because English is the language of the IT world. In addition, you should be self-motivated and able to find solutions independently. You should also have strong communication skills because software development is teamwork!
